• Subscribers & Agency Users ("Users") — insurance agents, brokers, and risk managers who create an account and subscribe to Trucking Insurance Leads.
• Commercial Motor Carrier Contacts — individuals whose business contact information is obtained through publicly available government transportation databases (such as USDOT and FMCSA filings) to provide lead intelligence to licensed producers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Details: name, business email address, phone number, and authentication tokens via Clerk.
• Billing Details: processed exclusively through Stripe; we never store or receive full credit card numbers.
• Pipeline Notes & Customer Data: notes, stages, and quotes you save in the Kanban CRM.
• Email Preferences: state filters and fleet sizing preferences for your 8:30 AM morning digest.

2.2 Information from Public Records

We aggregate commercial motor carrier business filings, operating authority statuses, equipment numbers, and public policy records from federal registries (FMCSA/USDOT) to populate daily lead lists and the 60-day renewal engine.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver daily 8:30 AM commercial motor carrier leads and 60-day renewal intelligence;
• Power the interactive 4-stage Kanban prospecting CRM and CSV export tools;
• Process subscription payments and maintain active account credentials;
• Send product alerts, security notices, and respond to support inquiries; and
• Protect against fraudulent use or security breaches.

4. Sharing of Information

We share data only with necessary service providers:

• Stripe: for PCI-compliant subscription payment processing.
• Clerk: for user identity, authentication, and session security.
• TiDB Cloud: for cloud database storage and encrypted customer records.
• Legal Compliance: if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

5. Motor Carrier Contact Opt-Out & Data Suppression

Commercial motor carriers who wish to remove or suppress their contact phone number or email address from our lead directory may submit a request at any time. Simply email support@truckinginsuranceleads.xyz with your USDOT number and company name. We process suppression requests promptly upon verification.

6. Security & Retention

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect customer information and account data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. We retain account data as long as your account is active, or as required by law and accounting compliance.
